Knits are always a staple for this time of year, but this year the options are next level! As we stay in more and work from home, we want to grab warm and comfortable pieces while still looking cute. That’s where some of my favorite knit pieces come in!
Knits come in various thicknesses, knit patterns and fabrics. I reach for the ones that are thick (because I get cold easily) and not itchy (because my eczema can’t deal). So I am sharing some of my favorites with you so that you can find the pieces that are perfect for you!

Let’s start with the knit tops!
Can you have too many knit sweaters? I don’t think so! Below are a few of my favorite THICK knit cardigans out right now. I own several and I love pulling them out for work. You just have to be mindful of how fitted your coat is with these pieces.
The best type of knits are the pullover knits. No buttons, no zippers, just throw over your head and walk out stylish. They are like blankets for the body. Below are some of my favorite pullover knit sweaters in the stores right now!
When it’s time to look a little more dressy and sexy while warm, I reach for the thinner knit sweaters that are form fitting. Bonus points if they have some type of detailing to accentuate your shape. Zara has a ton of these and I own a few. See some of the best ones below.
Now let’s get into the knit bottoms!
Knit pants have been BIG this year, and for good reason. One word: comfort. I have one pair from last year but I definitely could use a few more. I love how seamlessly they transition from inside wear to outside wear. It’s genius. Below, see some that I am obsessed with at the moment and adding to cart this month (because we know how the sales are in December).
If you want to spice things up a bit more, I would reach for a knit skirt! I love them so much. Sometimes I can’t be bothered with pants, even the comfy ones, so I want to wear a long, warm skirt. They also elevate a full knit look so well. And if you think you may be cold in a long skirt, layer up! Throw on tights, leggings, thigh high socks, or whatever you need to keep the warmth in. But I don’t usually have a problem with keeping warm in midi and maxi knit skirts when I pair them with tall boots.
Knit Dresses for every occasion (even the living room)!
Knit dresses have to be my favorite thing about the Fall. They are so much more comfy than wearing pants while still being very warm. Whether you are heading in to the office or just want to look chic around the house, knit dresses will always be the vibe…ALWAYS.
