Happy Holidays!
Like many of you, this time of the year is my absolute favorite! All of my favorite holidays are happening now– Thanksgiving, MY BIRTHDAY, Christmas and New Years! I also love all of the sale that are happening right now as retailers attempt to clear out their winter inventory and make room for the upcoming season. Yes, retails are thinking about the spring inventory ALREADY. Which is great for us! Let’s indulge in these sales honey.
I use this time to get a few dresses or looks that will work for any occasion that may pop up around now or save for other occasions and vacations in the upcoming years. I like to be strategic with my shopping.
In this post I will share with you some of my favorite festive looks (some that I have purchased and some that I am admiring from my computer screen). This post contains affiliate links.
Holiday Looks Under $100!
Sequins
Sequins are seen year after year, especially for New Years. I am not going to lie, I never was a huge fan of them. When they are ill-made, the sequins shed like crazy and scratch up my skin. But this sexy zebra print number is different! It is comfy, warm and has padded shoulders to give me that 90’s vibe! I feel very Fran Dresser (from The Nanny) in this!

If you want to dip your toe into the sequins pond without investing too much, I recommend this Zara mini dress. I normally don’t go for mini dresses these days, but this price had me willing to give it a shot. This dress is a dark green and it also comes in silver and there are other similar styles available. I like this to wear now layered up or under a faux fur coat. Then I will pull it out again during a warm weather vacation as a party look. It’s so versatile.

Fringe
Last year I wore a sexy dark fuchsia fringe dress for my birthday and now I am obsessed (see the fuchsia look HERE). Asos ALWAYS has a variety of beautiful fringe dresses. They are definitely my go-to for holiday looks (and any look really). It looks like I am really into the mini dresses this season which is not typical for me at all. But as long as it does not ride up (and this dress doesn’t) then I will gladly show off my legs a bit!

Metallics
If sequins are a bit much for you or your events, and fringe is not really your cup of tea, you should consider metallic pieces. You get the glitz and shine of sequins without having to go that extra mile. It is also easier to clean after you dance your feet off in it. This Asos jumpsuit has metallic fabric woven into it and has a subtle shine in the light. Because it has skinny straps, you can layer your favorite turtle neck underneath, throw on a dope outer piece and/or just rock it as is! It all depends how what the climate is like where you will be celebrating. This is another piece I can easily transition from a cold NYC event to a warm vacation night look. I love a piece you can wear over and over again for multiple occasions.

That’s all folks! Those were my favorite pieces for the holiday season. I have others that I am eyeing so leave me a comment if you would like me to recommend more! What are you guys wearing this holiday season? Let me know!
