Hey there lovelies!
I know we have seen the checked blazer trend over and over again but I still can’t get enough! I have previously shared a list of retailers who sell this blazer style for under $65. See that post HERE. I am happy to say that I have found more retailers that are selling them for much less now! This particular blazer that I am wearing in this look only cost me $20 from H&M! It is a wool blend blazer (56% polyester, 41% wool and 3% other fibers) so it should keep me warm into early winter. I do not see this price online but it is still in some stores at the time of me writing this post. At the end of this post I will link inexpensive alternatives.

I have said time and time again that I do not like to invest too much into trendy pieces that I may only wear often for one season so I am glad to share inexpensive versions of these trends with you all any time that I can! Another trend that I am loving at the moment is the belt bag (or how us 80s and 90s baby know it as the fanny pack). Fanny packs have been slowly coming back in style the last few years and I am really feeling the versions that are out right now. Instead of the classic sporty look, they are more like purses for the hip. I have seen the Gucci versions sported on my favorite celebs and lutury bloggers and I definitely wanted in on this as well. I love the hands-free component of these bags and the chicness of their look. Its functional and fashionable! This particular one that I own is from Zara and are quickly selling out in many stores. Shop it HERE. If you do not get your hands on this particular one, don’t fret, I will link to alternatives at varying price points at the end of this post.
Another fav at the moment are mom jeans! They have been hot for a long while but I was never able to find my perfect pair until recently. I have sadly been sleeping on Asos’s denim section lately and shame on me for that! What I love about the Asos brand jeans are their comfortable fit and quality. My usual high waist jeans get uncomfortable during long days in them and usually do not last too long. I have thick thigh that rub like nobody’s business so I often get large friction holes in my inner thigh with many denim brands. But Asos jeans typically are thick denim like how they used to make it back in the day and can stand up the thigh rubbing! These mom jeans feel like real denim like we had in the 90s. You know, like those amazing Levi thrifted jeans some people are so lucky to always find. I love that these mom jeans are not too tight, durable and LONG. It is a struggle for a tall gal to find jeans that don’t stop awkwardly above the ankles. Asos has jeans for the tall, the super short and the curvy. I will be buying more in the upcoming months! For a size reference: I am 5’6 tall and a size 10/12 normally in denim so I purchase a size 32 (for the slouchy fit) and 32 length from Asos.
