Hello beautiful people!
It is finally my day 4, aka my last day of my very first New York Fashion Week. Whew! What an exciting, inspiring and tiring 4 days! It was mainly tiring because I also worked full-time during this time. I kept each day moderately light when it came to my NYFW schedule because I have heard and read about how some people bite off more than they can chew and exhaust themselves during this time. I am happy with my decision and my little lineup of events.
My final day of NYFW was extra special because I got to support a black owned business, which is very important to me. The designs showcased by Bohn Jsell were vibrant, fun, chic, and original! From the large spiral earrings to the sexy pumps, I thoroughly enjoyed each look from head to toe! I can honestly say that I can see myself wearing many pieces from this brand and would be the flyest one in the room when I do.
The vibrant colors and patterns remind me of the many beautiful pieces that can be found in many counties throughout Africa. The clothes screamed of rich culture and sassiness. I can go on and on about how much I loved this collection, but I think it would be best if I just post more pictures and let you see for yourself.
My favorite item in the collection was this gorgeous skirt that is featured below:
My #OOTD
My look for the night was this liberating combo that felt both sexy and smart. I love my button downs and I hate the restriction of pants so this look pretty much expressed how I felt after a long NYFW and workweek. I just needed some freedom and comfort! The blue and white stripped shirt dress and comfy black booties are from zara, and the tulle skirt from Asos.
